Urban transport : Think "tomorrow" today.

We, at TACV, believe that the emergence of autonomous vehicles will change the face of public passenger transport. If urban transport responds in real time, "on demand", by deploying "smart" vehicles, what place is left for the buses with stops at fixed time ?

We, at TACV, we believe that the new mobility, the teleworking, the changes of the urban layout in multiple work-poles require a new approach in the urban mass transport.

Public transport systems must be simple, ecological and low - or not - subsidized.
Anticipating these new needs, TACV presents the U-Trace®. 

U-Trace® is ready to meet the challenges of the city of the 21st century.

    •    This is a transportation system capable of high commercial speeds (from 35 to 100 km/h, depending on the mission profiles).

    •    This is a transportation system with a low acquisition cost, and reduced maintenance costs

    •    It is a multi-tenancy with other flows (information, énergy).

    •    It's a "living environment" architecture that adapts itself against the city (ability to go through existing buildings, ability to climb ramps up to 7% if needed).

    •    It's a flexible transportation system that adapts itself following the incoming changes in urban mobility.

    •    It's a versatile system capable to operate light freight traffic such as parcels delivery, post and the supply of goods to shops in the heart of the city.

Long distance transport : A world in upheaval.

We, at TACV, we believe that the emergence of "smart" vehicles will also change the face of long distance transport. What can be the place for rail passengers service when buses are clean, close to client's needs, and are using a cheap, open and robust road ?

In many developed countries, modern bus replaces the train.
Now, only the speed, or some specific environmental constraints can justify the need of the train. However, current rail systems are heavy, complex and expensive to acquire.

In the case of high speed trains, such systems require many clients to support a fragile economic model with high maintenance costs.
Only the megalopolis cities can meet the economic and financial constraints of fast intercity rail. And even!
The conditions for economic success are so demanding that, in the world, only 20% of high speed train lines are profitable. Therefore, when it's needed, how to adapt the rapid rail to inter-connect medium-sized cities or larger ones ?

The Fultrace®, fast, affordable to acquire and cheap to operate : the future of intercity transportation.

    •    Lightweight, its track can be built upon the existing road infrastructure. Therefore, there's no need to build on new available areas.

    •    Using dedicated tracks, the Fultrace® will offer high commercial speed, undisturbed by other traffic (goods, suburban trains ...).

    •    Flexible, the Fultrace® is able to fit into his environment. He's able to use ramps up to 7%. Depending on the needs and on the mission profile, it can cruise at averages speeds up to 300 km/h.

    •    Simple, part of the family of contactless tarnsport systems, the Fultrace® doesn't require any heavy infrastructural maintenance, keeping the opration costs very low.

    •    Versatile, it can operate freight or light parcels deliveries, such as post mail delivery.


U-Trace® and Fultrace® are two transportation systems specifically designed in accordance with the environmental goals of the 21st century. Using proven aerospace and rail technology, X-trace systems are an appropriate response to the new faces of urban and intercity passenger transport.
